I have 29 years of retail experience:

• Expanded from one optical store to five stores which I later sold

• Built from the ground up an Arby's Roast Beef in 1984 and still own it today

• Opened and operated a rock and roll night club for two years

• Opened a Country Kitchen in 1995

• Purchased another Country Kitchen in a nearby town

• Sold both Country Kitchen's to a pizza chain in 2003

• Was Director of Franchising for a pizza chain

• Opened a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop in 2005 and still operate

Having worked through and around numerous experiences have included:

• Obtained millions of dollars in financing for various projects

• Faced road construction issues for two years at one location

• Had major competitors open six months after opening two operations

• Numerous and frivolous lawsuits

• Faced salmonella scares with two chains

• Watched helplessly as one chain shrank by two thirds

• Went through the labor shortages of 1999 and 2000 when you hired anyone who walked through the door
